In late 2015 CDR Toronto was launched. The night originated in London, UK, spearheaded by Tony Nwachukwu and Gavin Alexander. Gavin, now a Toronto resident felt that a night like CDR could provide a platform for local artists, musicians and lovers of new music to share their creations + works in progress.
I was part of the CDR team from the start, lending my talents in creating various promo elements, designing physical invites, posters + social promo. Also photographing each event and editing the various recap videos and CDR: In Studio sessions.
CDR: THE NIGHT OF IDEAS AND TRACKS IN THE MAKING
Producers, Musicians, Artists submit their tracks at each session
via USB stick or they can upload to the CDR Toronto site.
Submitted tracks are played during OPEN CDR
