Role:
Art Director + Motion Designer
In this role I helped define the visual style for the explainer sections of the series BANA KONESANS — moments where the children discover an object and are transported into a new immersive visual world that reveals the historical and cultural significance of the object. I gathered extensive visual references drawing from graphic design, textiles, illustration and contemporary art, as well as archival photography. Using AI tools, I combined these styles and infused motion and life into the designs. I also leaned into the bold tapestry of African patterns to inform the show’s title sequence and opening animations, guiding the creative team toward a visually rich and culturally grounded aesthetic.
