Through personal archival records from hidden, lost or forgotten collections, this series uncovers many untold stories from Canada’s Black Communities connecting the dots from the Book of Negroes to Hip-Hop (before Drake).
My role for this project started initially with building out a sizzle video that was an overview of all the topics within all the episodes. Canadian Hip-Hop, Toronto Carnival, Photography, Literature and Archivists.
