As the Art Director and Designer for Remedying Democracy, I was responsible for developing the show’s visual identity and on-screen design package. The series, hosted by campaign strategist and community organizer Dave Meslin, explores the barriers and blind spots within modern democracy—and highlights real, actionable solutions to repair it.
My goal was to create a design system that reflected the tone of the series: serious but hopeful, accessible without oversimplifying. I designed and directed the opening titles, lower thirds, motion graphics, and other show elements, ensuring that every piece contributed to a cohesive and engaging viewer experience. The visual language needed to support complex political ideas while remaining inviting and clear, and I worked closely with the editorial and production teams to strike that balance.
This project gave me the opportunity to blend clarity, creativity, and purpose—crafting visuals that not only informed but inspired.
